Enrolling and FAQ's

Breakfast, After School or Holiday Club

Before your child attends either our Breakfast, After School or Holiday Club, a registration form must be filled out.

You can either pick a registration form at the main reception, email Footsteps4life@outlook.com and we will send it to you or download the form here.

Extra Curricular Clubs

Once a club is advertised, go to the Book Online Page and fill out the form with all the required information or email us at Footsteps4life@outlook.com requesting a place for your child.

Please note- Only once payment is made, your child's place has been securely booked.

Some clubs have a limited number of places so it works on a first come first serve basis.

Breakfast, After School and Holiday Club

What happens if I need to cancel a session?

If you do need to cancel any pre booked sessions with us, please note that we do not offer cash refunds for any booking cancellations. A credit note will be issued for you to re-book a slot for the required service.

When and how do I collect my child?

The collection point for the After School Club and Holiday Club will be from the main school reception. The After School Club and Holiday Club both finish at 18:00 however, you may collect your child at any time during the service after your child has been signed out by a Footsteps 4 Life member of staff. Please note, we do apply additional charges for late pick ups. *See T and C's. We operate a strict and secure collection procedure and it is necessary therefore for a parent/guardian to sign your respected child/children out each day.

What does my child need to bring when they attend the holiday club?

All children will need to bring a packed lunch and plenty of water, (fizzy drinks are not permitted). Footsteps 4 Life does advocate a healthy and balanced diet, so when packing your child's lunch, you might want to include fresh and non processed food products such as fruit, vegetables, wholemeal bread, natural low- fat yoghurts and water. Refrigeration facilities may not be available so we would recommend all packed lunches to be packed with ice packs or frozen gel to keep them refrigerated. Due to allergy issues, we would request parents to not give their children any food that contains nuts. Children will also need appropriate clothing for both indoor and outdoor activities. Sun hats and sun cream to warm clothing and waterproof jackets should all be to hand if required.

Can I use Childcare Vouchers for your services?

Yes. We accept a wide range of childcare vouchers for all of our services. Please contact us to see if we accept your childcare vouchers and how to proceed.

Extra Curricular Clubs

What if my child doesn’t manage to enrol into the club?

We will be running the clubs several times throughout the year so your child will have another chance to enrol. Follow us on Facebook where you can receive early announcements of clubs and have a chance to be the first to enrol.

Can I enrol my child in more than one club?

We welcome you to enrol your child in as many clubs as your child would like to take part in. Please be aware, do not book on to any clubs where dates clash as refunds will not be given.

Programme of Sport and Wellbeing

Do you provide Planning & Assessment for your Programme of Sport?

Yes, we plan all lessons corresponding to the National Curriculum. We differentiate for all abilities, needs and ages for each individual lesson or activity with learning objectives and outcomes set at the start of each lesson. Showing impact and providing assessments for teachers is extremely important. We also work closely with the PE Lead/Coordinator to provide them with an overview of the success our lessons are having throughout the school. For full details, please refer to the Programme of Sport and Wellbeing page and document.

How can I implement this into my school?

We would love to discuss this with you further. Give us a call on 07851221190 or 07793472888 and we can give you some more information. Better still, arrange a time to meet in person and discuss how we can best work with you. Alternatively, drop us an email- footsteps4life@outlook.com
